Hetland Seeds Ltd.

Hetland Seeds is a family business that has been working with producers in Saskatchewan for the last 50 years.  Bill Hetland, the current CEO, took over from his father, Forrest.  Bill has a degree in agricultural economics and over 30 years of experience growing and processing seed.  He helps growers make educated decisions with variety selection and market strategies.

Hetland Seeds is made up of growers and processors of pedigreed seed with accredited seed graders on site.  A few years ago, the business expanded by adding a crop protection side, as well as increasing their seed processing capabilities by building a new processing plant.

Bill is actively involved with and on the board of the Naicam branch of the Canadian Food Grains Project, and with his wife Lori, is actively involved in their community as a coach, fundraiser, and as a member of his church board.

Hetland Seeds’ motto has always been, to offer “Purity, Quality and Service” to their customers, and they are proud to be “Farmers, Serving Farmers.”
