Flatlander Agri Service Ltd.

Flatlander Agri Services Ltd. initially started on the Poloway family farm by Vimy, Alberta in 1969. After building a new facility at Clyde corner the business was sold in 2001 and has been under the direction of Michelle Flatla who also grew up on a family farm in the area. Flatlander has grown to include additional products and services, increased storage capacity and a full time staff of eight.

In 2008 Flatlander Agri Services Ltd. announced the strategic partnership of Michelle Flatla, Doug Laird and Greg Andrukow bringing leadership, quality service and solutions to the Clyde and area producers.

Thesuccessful partnership allows Flatlander to be uniquely positioned to enhance client service and add value through combined operational experience with agronomic solutions, products and services, purchasing, logistics, and strong geographical representation.

At Flatlander, they pledge to ensure the success of all customers through sound agronomic advice and the effective and efficient use of all agronomic and financial inputs. They attribute the success of their business to teamwork, and they make sure that customers’ needs are being looked after with the best service they can offer. 

Flatlander is a large supporter of the 4-H clubs throughout their area as well as Monsanto’s “You’re Your Wings” promotion.
