Greg Andrukow

Greg Andrukow was born in Edmonton, Alberta and lived there for 15 years until his dad Larry, started up his crop supply business in Ryley in 1976. As they opened a new location in Viking, Greg moved along with the business. He began in the business in 1979 as a bottle washer, fertilizer operator, salesman, and jack-of-all-trades. Also in 1979, Greg met Esther and they were married in 1983. They now have three kids, Chad, Alexander, and Chantelle.
Greg attributes his moving up in the family business to an accident. He started with the business not knowing how invested he would become in it and felt that it was the right place for him to be. Larry has said that the business never would have grown to what it is today without Greg. Greg is the innovator, leader, and dreamer for the business. Since his involvement in the business it has grown from the two locations to nine as well as partnerships with seven Alberta crop supply businesses. He also started Schemin’ and Dreamin’ Management Company three years ago to manage everything that the Andrukow Group is involved with.
Greg looks at his business as a game and he is focused on winning. He lives by the words of his role model, Vince Lambardi. He said, “Winning is not a sometime thing, it’s an all time thing.” Greg sees winning in business as a possibility for not only his business but for his customers. He wants his producers to be able to win and be successful in business, just as he is, and Grow Community of Independents is a steppingstone to success for both. Greg says that Grow is going to mean, “Huge opportunities for farmers to enhance yields and to make their farm a better place and hopefully it will enhance the family farm as well.” Not only is success in business important, but also growing the legacy of the family business, which is something that Greg knows a lot about and has made important to Grow.
