Duties Include but not limited to:

  • General Agronomy
  • Crop Scouting
  • Crop chemical recommendations
  • Agronomic research trial management
  • Be a primary contact for our farm business customer

We offer a very flexible work environment that promotes family and fun.  This position will offer an excellent opportunity for the applicant to gain experience in numerous aspects of the agriculture industry.  The applicant will get to interact on a first hand basis with both growers and industry representatives.  Experience is an asset, but not required.  We will hold the position until May for the right applicant. 

Cavalier Agrow ltd. is a multi-outlet independent Agri-Retail based in NW Saskatchewan.  We strongly support the College of Agriculture.  Cavalier Agrow ltd. has 15 full time and 8 part time staff of which 8 has attended the College of Agriculture and Bioresources at the U of S.   We are a full service facility offering liquid fertilizer, dry fertilizer, chemical, seed, inoculants, and most importantly Agronomic Guidance to our farm business customers.   We were recently the recipient of the Canadian Agri-Retailer of the year award.  This award was based on employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, innovation, environmental stewardship, and community involvement, and was selected from all retails across Canada.

Cavalier Agrow is also an excited member of the Grow Community of Independents.  Grow is an organization that represents 22 independent retails across western Canada accounting for 16% of the western Canadian retail marketplace.  The mandate of all Grow members is to use cutting edge agronomics to help our farm customers be more profitable and grow millions of more bushels each year.  Being part of Grow gives Cavalier staff access to the Grow Academy, the best ongoing agronomy training program in the industry.
