Industry Professionals - Winnipeg Comments
Throughout the week at Grow Academy in Winnipeg, industry professionals assisted our students by working with them through problems and case studies. We were impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge they brought to the learning experience and are grateful they gave up their time to be with us. We asked some of them what they thought of the Grow Academy and the learning/teaching format of the event. Here is what they said:

Industry Professionals - Winnipeg - Part 1
Part of the learning experience at the Grow Academy is interacting with industry and academic experts. Grow Academy invited experts from fields relating to the topics for that day to work with break out teams in engaging the problems they were asked to solve and helping them brainstorm realistic solutions. Some experts were also asked to judge the group presentations and provide their feedback on content, creativity, and presentation. We are thankful to all our guest experts! On Day 3 in Winnipeg we had another group of industry professionals join us at Fort Garry where the Grow Academy students tackled another set of questions to challenge their knowledge and experience. Grow Academy Inaugural Event
Grow Academy began its inaugural event on February 28, 2011 at the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg, MB. Layne Erickson started the event off by sharing his comments about how the Grow Academy came to be and the road getting there. He expressed his excitement for what this week would hold and then introduced Greg Andrukow, elected president of Grow Community of Independents. Greg Andrukow shared his excitement for agriculture and expressed his hope for what the Grow Academy with mean to their customers, and their staff. Both introductory videos are below. Enjoy!

Grow Academy Launch
On September 8, 2010 Grow announced its inception at TCU Place in Saskatoon, SK. Part of that days events included a video presentation about Layne Erickson and the Grow Academy. He described the Grow Academy and what Grow hopes to accomplish through it. Check out his video below!
